Preclinical Services

GLP Drug Preparation and Radiolabelling

Corsidus provides chemistry services for the GLP synthesis of gram amounts of compounds required for early preclinical studies.  At a subsequent date, when the compound is ready to advance from lead optimization to clinical candidate, a variety of further chemical services to support preclinical GLP drug supply demands can be supported.

Our experienced chemical development partners offer quality and reliability and will work with you to address critical timelines. We can scale-up GLP production of compounds for preclinical testing, and will investigate optimization strategies for the synthetic route of your lead compounds.
Our capabilities include:
Custom chemical synthesis
Scale-up synthesis
Process optimization
Preliminary stability assessments
Development of analytical methodology
Transition from preclinical GLP production to larger scale GMP production

Radiolabeled Compounds
Corsidus provides radiolabeling of drug candidate(s) for accelerator mass spectrometry (AMS) analysis of samples from human microdose studies. In the majority of cases inclusion of 14C-label as the reporter isotope will be sufficient for assessing the pharmacokinetic and ADME characteristics of the investigational drug.

Corsidus also provides the option of employing other radiolabeled isotopes that may be more informative depending on the chemical class and nature of the intended therapeutic. A decision on the incorporation of the most appropriate label would be made in consultation with the customer and guidance by our experienced AMS scientific review team.
